I WON!

Hi everybody! I'm still really excited because I won something last night.  So, I follow this website called:
http://www.americangirlfan.com/                    and every Tuesday she does a "caption that doll picture" and anybody can enter, every Tuesday for the past 2 or 3 weeks I have entered,  once I was a 'honorable mention', which I was SUPER excited about, but this week, last night I checked the website for the results, (she posts them on Fridays) and it said the beginning of what I wrote, then: "Congratulations Atira!" I was SO EXCITED! Here is the link:
http://www.americangirlfan.com/caption-that-doll-picture/
Isn't that awesome?? I didn't actually win anything physical, just being on her website!
So, I just had to post that today. :)
Thanks,

Atira.

Hallejuah!

OK. I'll get "write" to the point! (hehe)
This blog post will have two topics. One, my friend Abby. The other, tap shoes! {Yes, I said tap shoes}

Abby:
Abby, kindly mentioned in several earlier posts, like "Cinderella" and "sports", is in the Nutcracker this year, which I told you in an earlier post. I think "sports". But, what I didn't tell you was that she is going to be in Don Quixote as well! Isn't that awesome??? I know!!!!
Well, sorry Abby, that's all in your part. But, hey! Your on my blog! yippee!

Tap shoes:
So, as I posted earlier (Below post) me and my Momma are in a dance class together. Well, we need(ed) tap shoes. Eleanore, (our dance teacher) brought in a pair of tap shoes and character shoes for us, as a result, the tap shoes fit us with thick socks, the character shoes are to big.  I am to nervous in the heeled tap shoes, (she only gave us one pair of tap and one pair of character shoes in case I didn't make that CLEAR!) so now my Mom gets the tap shoes. We were down near, uh, a Trader Joes and other places and there is a Good Will down there, so we decided to stop in and see if they had any tap shoes. we waltz, (kinda jogged) into the store and headed down to the shoe department we looked for a sec, then BAM! TAP SHOES! {Insert angel singing here} I tried it on, they FIT ME! YIPERS! OK, a catcher here though, they are $14.99, which we would be willing to pay... if they had the insoles.. Yeah, no insoles! So, we started walking up to the counter saying if they could take it down to $10.00 we would buy them. The lady at the checkout said she'd ask, yes! 30% off equals to, {drumroll} $10.46 or so! OH MY WORD! OUR PRICE!!!! How funny? So, now I have cute tap shoes that I just need to buy insoles for, before next Monday! HURRAY!
Well, signing off. For now.
Talk to you after Thanksgiving! (Or, if I find something worth-while to post about sooner, I will!)

Dance Classes!!!!!!

Monday, one of my favorite days of the week now. Why? Allow me to explain....

Mom used to take zumba with, whilst there she made a friend, that friend told my mommy about a dance class for Momma. Momma said it would be cool to find one where me and her could to together, and we can! To the same one! Our first one was last Monday, and it was SO MUCH FUN!
The first hour is ballet, (LOVE IT!) then the second is tap, (LOVE IT!) I love doing ballet, it's so much darn fun! We were doing things, like, uh, it's hard to explain, but I'll try! Here goes!

Ballet- Slide right heel in front of left foot near toes, jump up and switch feet. (make sense, you ballet peoples???) Another was again sliding the feet like explained above, only you turn on one foot, repeat, then on that second turn keep turning for a second turn, make sense?? I'll hopefully  maybe try to post a video of it, OK? Another ballet thing was leaping, only you have to have your arms and legs opposite. We, (as in me and Momma) were thinking you took 3 steps then leaped, it was working for the first time but not the repeats, then we figured out it was walk 2 steps and THEN leap on 3rd.... ah.... Makes more sense, ain't it?? I am so not limber! It's hard to do some of the stretches, so I am stretching every day now!

Tap- I don't remember alot of the tap, sorry! Maybe someday, (don't count on it) I'll post a video of all the dances on here! So, please be praying that I actually will do that, I mean the videos.
Now, the lady, (the teacher of the ballet) is in her 80's a former rockette.... Yes, she's still teaching ballet! I think it's amazing! All the ladies there are very nice. I really like this one lady Liz, she was helping us, like in tap she was breaking down the dance steps to make it more, understandable! For the end 2 dances we sat out because it was a routine they had practiced, (we hadn't known that when we decided we were going to sit out, the teacher had told us to because that was enough learning for one night she said!) They were amazing! Maybe someday I'll video tape that also.. One was like a USA themed dance, Liz, she's pregnant, and she was doing cartwheels and splits and everything! It was amazing!!! They guys had fake guns they were twirling and things, and the other girls had batons, and then they did like can-can dancer moves, you know, lining up and kicking??? Yeah! It was really cool and we had an awesome time together! YAY FOR MONDAYS! I'm always like, "I want it to be Monday!" Lately I've been doing that.... haha!

GOTY 2012!!!! EEEP!

For any of those of you who were curious, (And those of you who weren't. Ahem.) GOTY stands for Girl Of The Year. And 2012 stands for the year, 2012. (Duh!)
Anyways. I found out information about AG'S GOTY in 2012. (American Girls Girl Of the Year)
Her code name is Velma, and (I think) her real name is Cassey Jones, she is a gymnast who gets in an accident and is put in to a wheel chair, I think temporarily. They are in the makings of making a movie of her. ;) Thanks to Google and the AGFMB, (American Girl Fan Message Board, not actual AG website) for the info!

I CAN'T WAIT! YEEEP! {Ahem}

Oh, yes. I am so excited. Why?, you ask, well, because. I say. Allow me to explain.
Some of our friends introduced us to a video of a Christian Comedian, some of you may know him, Tim Hawkins. He is hilarious and family friendly. Well, I am so excited because in March we get to go see him........ IN CONCERT! Oh yeah, Momma! And, we get to go with the friends that introduced us to his videos! How fun does that sound? If you like comedy, then you should go google/you-tube Tim Hawkins, Comedian. He is a Christian who's wife homeschools thier kids.
Go check it out. You'll thank me later.
(Last sentence courtesy of the show MONK. Ask me and I will explain about HIM)

What is it????

Hi you guys! So. I was talking to my grandma on my Dads side today, and she said she has a prize for me from my Cousins in California. She was there last year around the holidays, ( Christmas/hannukah ) and they had the prize for me then. They forgot to bring it home and when my Grandma went to California this last time this year, she got the prize for me! So. Got any idea of what it is? It's just small. To guess please comment!
Thanks,

Atira.

I should have posted this earlier.... :D

Hello, I have to tell you guys about something that is/was very special to me. Read on and enjoy!

This last February, (2011) I really wanted to go to a ballet that my friend was going to be in, Cinderella. So we tried to win tickets, didn't win, sadly. I was told we couldn't go because it was to expensive. I was sad  but said OK. Later that month me and my Mom were going to have a special day. She got me 2 new outfits, I could choose one to wear that day.( I got to keep both ) one was a black tank top, (thick straps) dress with huge white polka dots on it and two bright pink ribbons around the waist. The top part was like, pleated I guess. ( Not sure how to explain I'll show a pic ) The dress had a cute bright pink shrug to match the ribbons. The other outfit was a light pink purple tank top with 4 roses on one side, a darker purple long sleeved shrug, and a light purple tulle knee length skirt. I was so surprised. I found out about these because my Mom called me into her room because she wanted to see what I was going to wear. I came in and this is what she said: "That is really cute! But I think I have another outfit." She threw back 2 pillows on her bed uncovering those 2 beautiful outfits. I gasped! "Oh, Mom!" I said. I gave her a big hug. I ended up choosing the dress. If I do say so myself, ( And everyone agreed! LOL! ) I looked beautiful. We got in the car and headed off. Now, my Grandma lives right around the corner so I wanted to stop by and show her my gorgeous new dress real quick. We stopped by and I showed her my dress. Mom whispered to me: "Why don't we ask Grandma to come along?"  I had been hoping just that! ( That was a part of mommy's plan, she had planned it out with this Grandma and my other Grandma who will come along later in the story ) so we got into the car and headed off. We were planning to go to NorthGate mall. To enjoy Red Robin and dink around the mall there. Coincidentally ( not really, Mom planned it. Mom planned everything I just happened to go along with it, with G-D guiding me! ) my other Grandma lived near there, and of course again I wanted to show her my dress. So we stopped by. I hopped out of the car and ran up to the door. She opened the door a minute later. As we exchanged hugs and started talking, I leaned over to Mom and asked if I could invite Grandma. ( I didn't want to hurt my other Grandma's feelings, just in case! ) Mom said yes, of course! ( It was all a part of her plan, she wasn't sure how she was going to pull all of this off but I just wanted to do all of it with out knowing! ) So I invited her and she said yes of course. We hopped into the car and we were off. We got to Red Robin a few minutes later. We went inside and ordered. While we were waiting for our food I was saying how I wanted to go and dink around the mall. Mom said she had another idea but that she wouldn't tell me. Darnit. I tried guessing and I never figured it out, she wouldn't have said yes anyways. After we ate I wanted to go and look around in "Toys 'R' Us" Mom said we could go do that. After we left the toy shop we got into the car and mom started driving towards where we were going. I was saying I really wanted to know where we were going, Mom asked: "Do you really want to know? Because if so I'll tell you." I thought about it and decided against it. As we pulled up to where we were going. Mom asked what the sign said in front of us. I could barely speak. I made out the words: Abby's Ballet? I started crying. I got to go and see Abby's ballet! I was so happy and so surprised!! Everybody in the car started to tear up while I was just plain out crying I was so happy! Mom dropped me and one of my Grandma's off while she and my other grandma went to park the car. We headed inside to wait for them. We were about and hour early so we just looked around. I saw old costumes that were used in old ballets, I got pictures taken near therm. We got pictures of me and my family that were there. We even saw Abby's family, Denise Dean Sierra and Ethan.  Finally it was time go to in. I was so excited! It was awesome to see it. During the first break me and my mom went and ordered me a cookie and sparkling apple soda, I think. It was to be held for the second break. We went back in and during the next break me and Mommy went to get my soda and cookie. After the ballet, we went and looked in the PNB gift shop because of course I wanted a souvenir. After looking around for a while, ( for the prices are outrageous there) I finally decided on a Cinderella shirt. But we had to ask this lady to open back up this one thing she had just closed, ( where she sold souvenirs ) but she opened it back up, thankfully, and I got my shirt. Which I still have for it was only earlier this year I got it.
I really have to say, this was one of the best days of my life. Ever. Period.
I really do hope you enjoyed this post.
Je'etem, Mon Amie!
Atira.
Oh, yes. I forgot to add this. I saw Abby during the first intermission.  It was awesome, me and mom ran outside the building and around the corner to see her! It was awesome to get to see her! She was a pumpkin! Way to go, Abby! And she is going to be in the Nutcracker this year. I think she is going to be a soldier!

So sad, I had to leave at this spot. But of course I just HAD to get a good bye picture! Good Bye! Thanks for reading!

Ways to earn money????

Hello everybody! ( I thought I had posted this last night but it didn't show up so I am re-posting it! LOL! )
I was just curious if you had any idea's of ways to earn money...??? I am trying to save up some money to go shopping with my BFF. ( BFF, if you are reading this- Hi! ) We really want to go clothes, ( Were girls we do that ) shopping together. But I am not seceding in being able to SAVE! ARGH! ( I end up spending money, darnit.. ) So, I was just curious if anybody had any idea's of ways to earn money. Here is the list of things I have tried:

  • Writing and selling a newspaper. ( $5 bucks for 2 weeks! A bargain! Still trying, LOL! )
  • Selling washclothes.
  • Selling pictures I've colored or drawn. ( My dad bought 2 of them! )
  • Selling bookmarks I made. ( Tried selling them next to my pictures, I had set them up in my house like a mini store! LOL! )
  • Asking for money. ( I got $10 from my dad doing that! Saying it was so me and my BFF could go shopping! BONUS! LOL! )
I'm sure others I just don't remember right now..

Well, just comment with any idea's you have,

American Girl.

Hi everybody.
I just wanted to tell you all about something I enjoy alot. That thing is American Girl. American Girl is dolls, and doll clothes, and accessories, and furniture! Here is a link to the website if you want to see it.... :
http://www.americangirl.com/index.php
They have games on that website also! Here is a few of the outfits I really want for my dolls..
Those are 2 outfits that I really want - SOON!  Right now, I am entered into an *AG story contest. Hopefully I win 1st or 2nd or 3rd, which ever is either the new Cecile doll, ( link:http://store.americangirl.com/agshop/html/item/id/167887 )
Or 1st place is the new BFF collection. But I don't like Marie-Grace that much. Looks to much like the old Elizabeth doll that I have. Oh well, if I won her I'd either keep or sell her!
Well, there is todays post.
Love,
Atira.

Me and my CoD buddy!

First of all, I think you should know what CoD is, CoD means Call of Duty. So I have a CoD buddy- together we make up Team 23. The game we play is CoD, but it is CoD Black Ops. It is a shooting game... It is really fun. We are able to play it together. We both get on our Xbox 360's, put in the CoD game disk, and plug in our headsets. First of all, one of us invites the other to a party on Xbox Live. Then one of us sends the other a game invite. We get in-to the same 'match' and start playing and chatting! It is SO much fun.  I am so glad we are friends! Sometimes I play CoD with his sisters also! It is just a-ton of fun!

Thank You, AJ!

Oh! It is going to be just SO much fun!!!!!!! I know, sorry, sorry! I'm backing up! :D

It all started some many years ago when we became Messianic. We started going to our Friends Hank and Marilee's messianic conference,  ( You can read about it on the following website)
http://lficonference.com/( It's at a different place every year, this year it is at Multnomah college in Oregon, though it is ALWAYS in Oregon!) We love going to the conference because we get to see friends that we only see 1 a year and we get to study the Bible and the Torah! This year, the day after conference ends, we are going to a camp, called "Youth For Yeshuha", it also is a Messianic camp. A really good speaker, Brad Scott is teaching there, only til' Wednesday, then Wednesday till Thursday some kids are going on a White Water Rafting and Rappelling trip, which we are not tagging along with. We might go home Wednesday unless we are having a really good time. Our really good friend AJ got me and my Brother in for free. We weren't planning on going, because my Daddy is layed off right now, ( Though he has some part time work) so we don't have a ton of money, but our friend AJ emailed, not knowing that my Daddy wasn't working, and told us about these 2 free spots at the camp, after a few more emails, a few phone calls, and lots of excitement from me, we were registered! I am SO excited! I'll write all about it when I get back, or rather, probably the next day! Or the next, I'll be REALLY tired! But, it WILL help the week go by faster till I get to go to American Girl store!
 Thanks again, AJ!
Love,
Atira.

Twas The Night Before.......

Twas The Night Before.
Twas the night before conference
And all through the house
Not a creature was moving,
Not even a mouse,
Suit case was filled,
Clothes were laid out,
Shoes by the door,
And all was worn out,
Breakfast next morning,
In such a scurry,
Load up the car,
Get out in a hurry,
Four hours later,
We jump out the car,
Such excitement never seen,
At last here we are!

Atira.
So, how did you like it? Please comment and tell me what you thought of it! I get so excited when July comes! Because every year July means Conference, and the 4th of July, mainly conference though. You can read more about it on the next post! Enjoy!

Walks with Family.

What can I say? Walk.... Tired..... Fun...... Tired....... Walk..... Tired.... Fun.... etc.... ( I'm really not that tired, I'm just being a whiner, which I am good at!) No, I  had a good time going for a walk today, up until my heels and my knee started hurting. My knee started hurting because I was riding my scooter and standing on that one leg for a while started bugging it, which I think is how my heels began hurting..... I think.... :) But that's OK. Because it is fun when Kayli pulls me on the scooter,  I hold onto Kaylis' leash while I'm on my scooter and somebody walks next to or in front of Kayli, sometimes they run, and they call Kaylis' name. Kayli follows them which makes me and my scooter zoom along! It is really fun! But our dogs are annoying, in the car rides they have to breath with their mouths open, in our EARS! AAAGGGHHH! You don't KNOW how 'ear'tating that is! ( Get it, like irritating!) I hope I never have to go on a road trip with the dogs, if I do I am buying them those halters that horses wear that keeps their mouths shut! So they can learn to breath with their noses and not with their mouths all the time while doing it in my EARS!
Love,
Atira.

Book to read suggestions.

Hi Ya'll!

I just wanted to tell ya'll about this hyar book series I's readin'! ( I am writing like this because this is sometimes how they talk in the book, and I like it, I think it is fun how they talk!) The books I've been talking 'bout are called: " Mandie and the Secret Tunnel ( That is book 1) Mandie and the Cherokee Legend ( Books 2) Mandie and the Ghost Bandits ( Book 3) Mandie and the forbidden Attic ( Book 4, I am on that book and I got all 5 books on Sunday, June 5th!) and book 5 is Mandie and the Trunks Secret ( Books 5). In this hyar series is a lot more Mandie books, but these are just the 5 that I own. There is around 6 books of  Mandie that has 5 books in it, does that make sense? It means there is 5 books in one giant book, and there is 6 of those. With different books in each, I hope that helped! But they are really good books! And for after you are done reading them, there is a movie! ( We watched the movie before I read the books, but it is a good idea to read them and then watch the movie.)  I'll give you a little summary on two of the books. Hyar is the summary of the first Mandie books:
Mandie and the secret tunnel summary.
When Mandies' father dies, she is filled with grief. Her 'Mother' sends her off to another  familys house to take care of a baby. Whos' family is really rude to Mandie.  Her Uncle Ned  who promised her father he would look over Mandie and make sure shes safe finds her and helps her find her Uncles Johns house. Where she finds a secret tunnel when she moves in there.  Find out what happens in this sweet story.

Mandie and the Cherokee Legend.
Mandie and her friends find some gold when trying to get out of a cave they got lost in.  Will they ignore the story that gold brings bad luck to the Cherokee people, or will they listen and keep it where it is?  Find out in this adventure seeking story.

Once you start reading these books, you don't want to stop. Especially if you are a book worm like me. I have read 3 of the books in 4 days, I have almost finished the 4th one, and I got the books 5 days ago! They are just such good books, sweet and adventures, sometimes you want to yell at this one boy and go AAAAAAHHHHHHH ( or puke) as her friends Joe asks " Mandie, when you grow up, will you marry me? Will you promise to marry me?" Then Mandie says: " Joe, let me think about it." In the end, Mandie says yes. So, either you want to puke, or say AAAAAAAAAAHHHH. :) But don't worry, it doesn't really have much of that kind of stuff in it. I can't wait to read the rest of these books!
Love,
Atira. ♥ :) !

July, this year I love that month because that is the month that I go to American Girl store for the very first time! I am SO excited! It will be so much fun! It will be a dream come true! I just had to share that because I am so excited! :) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
P.S. If you like American Girl, please comment. :) Thanks!
